Bacon Quiche

Here are a few more recipes I found that I liked.

1 sheet refrigerated pie pastry
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1 tablespoon butter
6 eggs
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup apple juice
1/2 lb bacon cooked and crumbled
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 cups shredded cheese (any kind)

Line pie plate with pastry, flute edges.
In a smal pan saute green onions in butter until tender.
In a large bowl wisk eggs, cream and juice.
Stir in bacon, salt, pepper and green onions.
Pout into pastry, sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 350 for 40-45 min. or until knife comes out clean. (it may still be a little jiggly in center)

Wow.. interesting. I've tried so many quiche recipes and I've never done one with apple juice. What does that add to the flavor? I'll have to give it a try!
